LKL Farming

LKL Farming grow crops on some 1800 acres of land, mainly group 2/3 clay/warp/sandy loam. Approximately 1700 acres is family owned with 100 acres rented on a Farm Business Tenancy. We farm with the aim of maximising economic return, whilst showing due diligence towards the environment within which we farm. Farming with an Integrated Farm Management philosophy, the arable enterprise consistently performs to a level which places us within the top performing 25% of arable farms nationally.
The arable enterprise is run by an enthusiastic team of three, augmented with casual staff at peak times. A small fleet of modern and high output equipment is utilised for optimum timeliness. This fleet forms the basis of our contracting enterprise.

LKL Farming is a member of the Green Pea Company, which grows peas for Birds Eye.
The farm is registered with the LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) and ACCS (Assured Combinable Crops Scheme) assurance schemes.
